Holidays
Mancera Holidays is a Floral Woody musk fragrance that was released in 2016. The top notes in this perfume are bergamot and coconut. The mid notes are ylang-ylang, tiare flower and sea notes. The base notes are vanilla pod, sandalwood and white musk. The projection is strong and the longevity is strong.
Beve found Holidays to be fresh, soft, sweet, and a little bit aquatic on the opening but struggled to detect the coconut. As it progressed through the mid the aquatic freshness along with the citrus and the sweetness were present. She liked the fact that the fragrance stays consistent throughout its life.
Beve would wear this perfume on holidays, especially on the beach, where the perfume would match the tropical vibe and the sea breeze. She could picture herself hanging out on the beach and enjoying piña coladas.
Overall she likes Holidays and found it to be pleasant and soothing but does not love it, as she didn’t feel that it had a ‘wow’ factor.
Instant Crush
Mancera Instant Crush is an Amber Floral fragrance that was released in 2019. The top notes in this perfume are saffron, ginger, mandarin orange and bergamot. The mid notes are amberwood, Moroccan rose, jasmine and patchouli leaf and the base notes are vanilla, sandalwood, white musk and oakmoss. The projection is strong and the longevity is strong.
Beve found that Instant Crush is very fresh and zesty on the opening, with a distinctly masculine profile. Then as it progressed to the mid she felt that the amberwood took over and became dominant. Overall she described the fragrance as being sophisticated and a good option as an office friendly fragrance for someone who appreciates a masculine leaning scent.
Beve would wear Instant Crush in a professional work environment, particularly if she was around men and wanted to throw them off guard and neutralize her femininity.
Wild Python
Mancera Wild Python is a Chypre Floral fragrance that was released in 2018. The top notes in this perfume are tuberose, osmanthus, peach and bergamot. The mid notes are jasmine, orange blossom and patchouli and the base notes are vanilla and white musk. The projection is moderate and the longevity is moderate.
Beve found Wild Python to be soft feminine and light. In the mid she noted florals and creaminess and then floral and vanilla on the dry down. On the whole she described Wild Python as present and consistent throughout its journey and found it to be a soft, gentle, musky vanilla floral.
