Flowerbomb Nectar

Flowerbomb Nectar is an Amber Floral fragrance that was released in 2018. The top notes are gun powder, cassis and bergamot. The mid notes are osmanthus, orange blossom and jasmine sambac, and the base notes are vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin and patchouli. The projection is strong and the longevity is strong.

Beve describes the opening as a burst of fruitiness, a burst of florals, with a tingling green note and freshness. She finds that the initial burst has a really poignant fruit note that is very beautiful. In the mid she finds the same fruity floral goodness but now softened, more floral and warmer as it heads to the base. The dry down is quite beautiful. It is soft, slightly woodsy and sweet with just a hint of the fruity florals from before.

Overall, Beve considers Flowerbomb Nectar to be a very beautiful and happy scent. She feels that it is perfect for daytime wear and whenever she is in the mood for it, because it makes her happy. It’s a great scent for times when you’re running around all day or you’re out on patios or outdoor gatherings, because Nectar likes to have space – it gives off quite a scent trail.

Flowerbomb Midnight

Viktor and Rolf released Flowerbomb Midnight in 2019 and it too is a Floral fragrance. The top notes in this perfume are black currant and pomegranate. The mid notes are peony and night blooming jasmine and the base notes are white musk and vanilla. The projection is moderate and the longevity is moderate.

On the open Beve found Midnight to be sweet, a little bit fruity, a little bit sensual and very, very pretty. The scent just wrapped itself around her and pulled her in – she found it to be hypnotic. The floral note of peony and jasmine in the mid was just divine.

The hotter Beve got the more potent the fragrance became. It sat very close to her skin in the beginning and stayed that way until her skin started to heat up. As soon as her temperature started to rise, Midnight became more and more potent. All of a sudden she noticed it starting to project and release this sensual and intimate scent. When Midnight dried down she was left with sweet muskiness and vanilla.

For Beve, Midnight is a very intimate perfume. It’s not for daytime and going out or any of those type of day-to-day activities – this is an intimate encounter fragrance.
